3D Ceramic Print / Farewell
I have to admit that I am extremely sad that this is my last blog post for the course. As we were selected to join with Sydney, Marissa, and Shayla in a group, it took us a couple tries to come up with our object. We first had ideas to create a robot from a concept of Shayla's, although we ended up going with the idea of another twisted object of hers to use. Of course we added added the gem texture I created to an object similar to the one above. We had to play around with creating the object in order to make it work. We ended placing the textured panel into a triangle which we doubled up and then twisted to skew the object in a similar way to Shayla's design. When it came to actually printing the object, it blew my mind. The clay printer was extremely impressive itself along with the process of printing and the success it had.
